1. Agreement to Terms and Related Policies
By placing an order or using our website, you agree to be bound by:

If you do not agree to all of the above, do not place an order or use our services.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time by posting the changes here. Continued use of our website or products means you accept the changes.
2. Legal Notice & Brand Acknowledgment
The terms “AirTag”, “Precision Finding”, and “Apple” are registered trademarks of Apple Inc.®, and are used solely for reference purposes under the principles of Fair Use. Similarly, “SmartTag”, “SmartTag2”, and “Samsung” are registered trademarks of Samsung Electronics®, and “Ridge” is a registered trademark of The Ridge®.
RovisTech has no affiliation with Apple Inc., Samsung Electronics, or The Ridge. These references are for identification and informational purposes only. All other trademarks, product names, and company names or logos are the property of their respective owners.
We use these terms in product listings to accurately describe compatibility or intended use.
3. Nature of Our Products and Services
RovisTech purchases Apple AirTags and Samsung SmartTags at full retail price as an end consumer under the First Sale Doctrine. We then physically reconfigure these devices into custom, 3D-printed enclosures (e.g., wallet-friendly designs, Ridge wallet panel replacements).
We do not alter the internal electronic components, antennas, or essential circuitry of these devices.
- Our modifications may void the original manufacturer’s warranty, and we assume no responsibility for any such warranty claims.
- By purchasing, you acknowledge you may forfeit manufacturer warranty support.
We also offer customer-supplied modification services. In this case, you provide your own original device, and we charge only the modification fee.
The price of our modified devices includes:
- The full retail cost of the original, unmodified device.
- A separate modification fee for our custom reconfiguration service.
By ordering, you acknowledge you are purchasing a modified product or a modification service, not an unaltered Apple®, Samsung®, or Ridge® product.
4. Handmade Disclaimer
Our products are handmade. Minor cosmetic variations or imperfections are normal and not considered defects. These do not affect intended function and are not eligible for return.
Please note: The speaker in modified trackers may be quieter than the original device and could sound muffled or slightly distorted. This does not affect the core functionality, as the main feature of the tracker is UWB/Precision Finding, which remains fully intact.
5. Legal Use Only
You agree not to use our products for stalking, harassment, theft, or any illegal activity. We are not liable for any unlawful or malicious use of our products.
International buyers are responsible for ensuring our products are legal to own and use in their jurisdiction.
6. Limitations of Liability
We are never responsible for the loss of any item you expected to locate using our products — under any circumstances whatsoever — including but not limited to:
- Device disconnection, unpairing, battery depletion, signal loss, or app malfunction.
- Misuse, improper storage, accidental damage, or modification after delivery.
- Software updates, environmental interference, or any third-party changes affecting performance.
- Malicious, unlawful, or prohibited use.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, RovisTech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to our products or services.
Additionally, by purchasing, downloading, or using the DIY kit and/or STL files, you agree that RovisTech Inc. shall not be held liable for any damage, malfunction, or loss resulting from device (e.g. AirTag or SmatTag) modification. All modifications are performed at the user’s own risk.
7. Orders, Cancellations, and Returns
- Cancellations: Allowed before shipment. Once shipped, follow the return process.
- Returns: 30 days from receipt, unused, in original packaging. Handmade cosmetic variations are not eligible. A 20% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns.
- Refunds: Issued within 2 business days after inspection. Digital products are non-refundable.
- Lost Orders: If lost in transit, we will replace after an insurance claim. If marked “Delivered” by the carrier, no replacement or refund will be issued.
- All orders are shipped from Canada.
- Import duties and fees or customs charges are the responsibility of the buyer (Except United States orders placed after September 8, 2025).
- No refunds will be issued for items that are destroyed due to being refused at delivery, or are abandoned due to unpaid duties. For items that are sent back to us due to being refused at delivery, you will receive a refund of the order minus a 20% restocking fee as well as the cost of return shipping. For items that are automatically returned back to us due to an incorrect address or any other reason not listed above, we will offer to reship them to an alternate address once received by us, and applicable RTS and reshipment fees will apply.
8. Pricing and Availability
Prices, descriptions, and availability may change at any time without notice.
9. Intellectual Property
- All RovisTech designs, images, branding, and content are owned by RovisTech and may not be reproduced without permission.
- All trademarks belonging to Apple Inc.®, Samsung Electronics®, and The Ridge® remain their property. Our use of these names is purely descriptive and under Fair Use.
10. User Content & Reviews
If you submit a review, testimonial, or product photo, you grant us the right to use it for marketing (online and offline). You may opt out at any time by contacting us.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, and for Canadian customers, specifically the laws of Quebec. All disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec, Canada.
International customers agree that Canadian law governs their purchase and are responsible for compliance with their local laws.
