This AirTag's slim design is a huge improvement over the standard one I used to keep in my wallet. At about half the size, the difference in bulk is immediately noticeable. My wallet no longer has that uncomfortable bump, making it much more comfortable in my pants pocket. The materials seem quite solid and durable, which is a plus.
My Rating and Battery Life
I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars for now because I've only had it for a couple of weeks, so I can't yet confirm the manufacturer's claim of a 6-month battery life. I'm very hopeful that it will last as promised—if it does, it absolutely deserves that fifth star!
I really like this case for the AirTag. I use it without the card shape - ie I only use the pill shape holder and I place it in a secret pocket in my wallet . It actually lasted longer than 6m which was a concern (and the AirTag just tells you when to replace the battery so no big deal. Much better alternative than the original AirTag and I hve used it many times with precision location to find my lost wallet in house . My wife also uses it and appreciates it . It’s a great design . Well-built mod for an Apple Airtag. Comes with two smaller CR2024 batteries so the battery will need to be changed more often. But its necessary to keep the card thin. This card is not as thin as other tracker cards but it has an AirTag's "Find My" pinpoint accuracy. I considered the DIY kit but buying theAirTag cards pre-modded saves time & really isn't that much more price wise. It's be 5 stars if it was just a bit thinner, even if just the card edges tapered.
I would try to build up the corner where the batteryinserts as a can bend easily. Maybe metal corner if it doesn’t mess with conductivity.
Great product! All of the functionality of an Apple AirTag in a slim card that fits in your wallet. I've done some extensive research before my purchase and as far as I am aware, this is the only slim wallet card that has precision finding, as it is based on an actual AirTag from Apple. I use it in my Secrid Miniwallet and ended up using it without the card-shaped adapter for a slimmer fit. My only remark is the shipping, which took over a month (I live in Europe).
