Product Description:
This modified version of Samsung's SmartTag2 uses a special enclosure to integrate into a genuine or replica Ridge wallet, by replacing one of the inner metal pieces (Not the outer decorative plates). It discretely adds a fully functional SmartTag2 to your Ridge wallet while increasing its thickness by only 2 mm.
This incredibly thin design that does not compromise on durability was achieved by rearranging the internals of the SmartTag2 while keeping all of its original features including Precision Finding, a speaker, and most importantly a user-replaceable battery.
While the module is 4.7 mm thick, it replaces an inner metal piece that is 2.7 mm thick by itself, thus only increasing the thickness of your Ridge wallet by 2 mm compared to an unmodified unit.
Compatibility:
- Genuine Ridge Wallet version is designed for original "The Ridge" wallets manufactured after mid-2016.
- Replica Ridge Wallet version is designed for 3rd party generic replicas of the Ridge wallet, but is only guaranteed to be compatible with our own minimalist wallet.
- Thanks to customer feedback, we have learnt that our replica Ridge wallet module is likely to be compatible‡ with the following 3rd party wallets: ROSSM, Mountain Voyage, and Hayvenhurst.

* Please note that due to the slimmer design and the reduced space of the speaker cavity, while still audible, the speaker is quieter than that of an unmodified SmartTag2. Locating using Precision Finding is recommended.
After having lost my previous wallet, coupled with the tendency to misplace objects near constantly. I was trying to find a solution that would give me a little peace of mind, after investing in a new Ridge wallet, which I had wanted for quite a while, and certainly did not want to lose. I'm an Android user that has a strong distaste for apple products. Unfortunately Ridge did not have anything available but AirTag holders. I looked into trying to cross-platform with no luck, looked at Tile, but neither had an acceptable solution. The Galaxy Smart Tag 2 is fine for putting on a key ring, but just wasn't going to work without ruining the minimalist setup. Then Rovis Tech showed up in the search down a few results on the page, and showed me this product. I thought it looked kinda thick, but compared to the form factor of the Galaxy tag, it's quite an achievement what they have made. But to make a replacement inside plate housing the electronics of the tag is pure genius. I cannot tell any difference in performance between it and my factory tag that is on my keyring. I have only 3 points of criticism, and all are pretty minor. First and probably my biggest knock, is the texture on the side that faces the inside of the wallet. It isn't as smooth sliding the card out that is against it. Second is the battery slot and retainer. It works ok, especially being on the side with the outer plate of the wallet held to it with screws. I think a retainer that is held in place with a screw (same screw that is used to attach the outer plate) would be more secure. Lastly the sticker over the pairing button came loose, wadded up, and came out after just a few uses. Not a huge deal for me. These are really minor flaws for the value and performance. I can't recommend it enough. Great job, keep up the good work.
Only place to find a tag for Samsung to work with the Ridge wallet. Ridge does not even sell something like this. Highly recommended. Well built.
