I recommend this item if you’re looking for a slimmer version of an AirTag! But I wouldn’t recommend purchasing the DYI unless you understand the risks of potentially shorting out your AirTag logic board unless you’re very experienced in soldering electronics. I shorted both of mine and after shipping it back to Qaseem he was unable to salvage either. So it was an expensive lesson to learn! So I highly suggest buying the version ready to be paired and used out of the box. He included two extra batteries and handy instructions for troubleshooting!
